Daycare description / philosophy

My name is Voula, I am a mother of 2 and a grandmother to 2 beautiful girls. I'm a childcare provider in the Pickering area with 8+ years experience in this field, caring for children ages 1-12. In my home I've created a warm, clean, fun and loving child based area to keep children busy, entertained, happy and above all safe. I strongly believe in daily routine, as well as being consistent with my work. I can proudly say I can provide a SF and safe place for your child that will feel like home. I'm First Aid/CPR certified. Daily I provide snacks and a hot lunch (all from Canada's food guide). Hours of care are 7:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday, can be flexible with start time if necessary.

-I have a 5lb hypo-allergenic Maltese very friendly but(not around children)

I know the worries and stress of leaving your child to go to work, and the anxiety that one child experiences when being left behind without mom /dad, this is why I can reassure you that your child will be comforted, loved, and kept safe daily with me. I also have in the past allowed parents to call me during the day to check up on how their little ones are doing. I'm a parent and I know the feeling and a little reassurance makes a different in transitioning in our routines.
