Daycare Openings, Description and Features

Daycare description / philosophy

There are openings available for your children at my government-approved and licensed day home in Royal Oak. Subsidies are available upon registration.

- Bachelor degree in Educational Technology and 15 years as Education & HR Manager
- 5.5 years child day care experience and various certificates in child education
- Level 1 child care certification
- Current background check and police record

In my day home, I provide:

- A safe, clean, and nurturing environment for children from 6 months to 6 years of age
- Both structured play and free time, with different creative activities each day
- Books, crafts, and tools for learning and fun, for all ages
- Outdoor activities such as playing in the yard or park, going on walks, and snow fun

Yummy home-cooked meals and snacks are provided each day:

- Consideration is given to allergies, specific dietary needs, and food preferences
- Canada Food Guide is implemented in menu planning

Parents take home a comprehensive daily report detailing:

- What your child has eaten and when
- When your child has napped and for how long
- What activities your child has participated in
- New skills or abilities that your child has demonstrated

Availability includes:

- Days
- Evenings
- Weekends
- Full-time/part-time

My day home is regulated according to standards set out by the provincial government and I am held accountable by routine, unscheduled inspections, to ensure a high standard of care. I have excellent references and would be happy to answer any questions you may have about the care of your child/ren.
