Daycare description / philosophy

Hello, My name is Candice Cleniuk. I am a loving mother of three wonderful children; two girls (18 years old and 16 years old) and a boy (14 years old). I have had an approved day home for 17 years and absolutely love it! Government funding to help with the cost of child care is available to all families regardless of income. I have been told for many years that caring for children is my gift. I am very patient and enjoy guiding the children in making good decisions. I value each child for their unique individual personalities. I plan on having a day home for many more years, this is not just a job or a way to stay home with my own children, caring for children is my passion! I have my Early Childhood Diploma (level 3). I have also completed my Standard 10 Training as part of the provincial requirements. I have my certificate from the Canadian Child Care Federation for Level 3 Family Child Care Training. I have a valid certificate for First Aid and CPR through the Red Cross. Your child's day in my home will be filled with lots of love, healthy tasty meals and snacks, tons of outdoor play, and creative free play. A daily routine is followed and includes activities that will encourage healthy mental, emotional and physical development appropriate for the ages and stages of the children I am caring for.
