Daycare Openings, Description and Features

Daycare description / philosophy

Serving the communities of Evergreen, Bridlewood, Shawnessy and Millrise. We are located very near Our Lady of the Evergreens School.

Busy Bee dayhome is run by two sisters, Caro and Karen, both providing consistency and reliability each day of the week so you don’t have to worry about our dayhome closing for a day just because. Caro is an Arts teacher and Karen has a bachelor’s degree from U of C, as well as other certificates in children emotional development and education.

We have been operating for 10 years in South Calgary assisting families and creating a long-lasting relationship.

Dayhome is a Non-smoking, no pets, no teenagers home.

All Snacks and homemade meals included. We strive to have a diverse educational and fun activities for the children: reading time; dance; didactic and creative art; baking (no exposure to oven); non-harmful science experiments; sensorial activities for children development.
We do have scheduled naps for both babies and toddlers and they do have their own space for it.
Large fully fenced backyard with slides, water tables/small pools; Little tikes cars for kids to ride; swings and garden toys. In the summer time kids can pick up their own berries and in wintertime we do colouring and shapes in the snow. We love to celebrate special dates too! Birthdays, Christmas, Halloween, Easter and just about anything to have fun with our kids.
You can return to work with a peace of mind that your child will be in a safe, loving and caring environment.
During these past 10 years, our dayhome kids have been family and that has been shown in the long- lasting relationship we still have with their parents long after they are gone. You will receive references from current and past children who have attended the dayhome as well as our security clearance from the Calgary Police vulnerable sector.
Currently accepting the following age group: 12 months old to 4 years old (Max. 6)
Did we mentioned that Busy Bee is a Bilingual Dayhome? We teach Spanish as a second language. Hours of operation is 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
