Daycare description / philosophy

Hi, my name is Claire; I'm an English accredited Family Day Home Provider with Churchill Park. My husband is a firefighter he has his first aid, police check. Our children are 3, 4, 8 and 10 years old. I have my level three diploma in Childcare and Education and a current, clean police check (as part of my permanent residence I had to get one from the UK and one from Canada as well as a full medical). We enjoy exploring in the yard, baking, crafts, playing, reading, singing songs, visiting local playgrounds and utilizing facilities at the Tuscany club. Some of the filed trips we go on our the library, zoo, YMCA, different parks, wading pools, all mainly using transit. I am also available to pick up your children from Eric Havie School. I am friendly, understanding, compassionate and fun. I believe that guardians and parents should work closely together. I encourage communication in all aspects of my work. I use positive reinforcement and use direction/distraction if I see something is getting out of hand.
