Daycare description / philosophy

My motto: I believe 'Learning thru play' is the best strategy to develop the child's physical,social,emotional and intellectual growth. My Qualifications: I am Montessori trained and hold a 2yr Diploma, Level 1 Alberta certification and 16 years of teaching experience.I also have First AId/CPR,Security check and welfare check. My Dayhome/ Montessori Preschool: I use my 'home' that is spacious and bright. I use a structured program with strategies that promotes complete child development. It also encourages building confidence level of each child enhancing easy transitioning into school. A stimulating environment conducive to learning for all ages. My 'Plan for the Day' includes loads of 'hands on' and 'learning thru play' activities,making each day exciting,challenging and enjoyable for each child. Also have a big spacious area for outdoor play plus an additional play park just across my backyard. No pets and smoke free. I provide nutritious food - a home cooked lunch and 2 snacks per day. My timings are 8.00am to 5.00pm latest. I have full-time openings and part time ( 3 full days ) available beginning January 2024 onwards for ages 2 + and above.
