Daycare Openings, Description and Features

Daycare description / philosophy

As a 7-year certified and experienced early childhood teacher, I offer a safe, respectful, and fun before and after school care program. My goal is to help cultivate your child's self-esteem, and social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth by activities and play which encourage problem solving, positive social interactions, sensory motor development, language art skills, and mathematical thinking. I have my Level 3 in childcare, current security clearance, and updated First Aid (Sept. 2011). I am open from 6:45 am to 5:30 pm in McKenzie Towne, Prestwick. I have 3 spots available for children attending a.m. Kindergarten, or grades 1 to 4. I will provide your child with homework support/tutoring, healthy breakfasts and snacks, outdoor play and exercise, as well as indoor activities that include crafts, games, puzzles, Lego, books, toys, math activities, painting, and music activities. I have a piano that is available for practicing on. We are a pet-free and smoke-free home. My house is 2 blocks from McKenzie Towne School and 1.5 blocks from St. Albert the Great.
