Daycare description / philosophy

Hi parents and Families, I’m Jill and I have been an in home childcare provider for 13 years. A bit about how I run my Daytime; I offer a warm caring atmosphere and a clean and safe environment for your children. I believe in the importance of open communication with parents. You will receive regular updates via text message that will include photos and videos of our daily activities. At my Dayhome I am unique as I offer a low ratio care experience, in which I am able to work closely with each child. This allows me to better nurture them as they grow and develop. At my home you can expect your child to have a variety of toys and learning materials and I provide a preschool based curriculum. I am following the current Alberta Health guidelines regarding COVID 19. I provide nutritional, allergy sensitive homemade meals and snacks. I have the following qualifications; -14 years experience as a Family Dayhome Provider -Police Security Clearance -Child Welfare Check -Child First Aid and CPR Certification -Child Development Certificate Typical Daily Routines Arrival and Greeting Snack and clean up Bathroom and/or diaper change and hand washing Infants usually nap in the morning as well as the afternoon Circle time (including calendar, songs, finger plays, story time etc.) Arts and crafts or other learning activity Bathroom and/or diaper change and hand washing Outdoor play (weather permitting) or other large muscle activity Hand washing Lunch and clean up Nap time Bathroom and/or diaper change and hand washing Snack and clean up Free play Calm down time involving puzzles, colouring, reading I currently have 2 spaces available and I am accepting children ages 12 months and up. I also offer summer care for school age children. My Daytime will is located in Killarney right across from Killarney Elementary School.
