Educentres is a Calgary owned and operated business that has been providing child care to the community for over thirty years.

We provide a nurturing environment that fosters a child's emotional, social, intellectual, and physical development. We allow children to explore and learn through guidance and individual attention in a clean, healthy and creative environment designed especially for children. We provide a fully inclusive program for all children no matter what their developmental abilities are.

We follow the Emergent Curriculum and plan age appropriate activities based on the children's interests. Each rooms activities cover multiple areas of learning these are; Social and Emotional, Physical, Creative development, Communication, Language and Literacy, Numeracy and Knowledge and Understanding of the world.

We work with a variety of community programs in order to provide appropriate care and early education to all children.

Some of these programs include Supported Childcare Services, Providence Children's Services, as well as many of the programs through the Southern Alberta Children's Hospital.

If your child needs any additional support we will bring in specialists to ensure their optimal development.

Our Educators are well trained and knowledgeable staff, who demonstrate a caring attitude toward your children. They are friendly, life long learners with extensive childcare experience. Please come in to meet them for yourself.

Rachael and Teresa partner together to provide a strong team of Directors.

Combining an education in early childhood development, positive discipline and Entrepreneurship with almost 20 years experience Rachael has incredible insight into children's behavior, parenting challenges and program management.

Teresa has been part of Educentres for close to 30 years and is experienced working with families and ensures that all children's needs are provided for.

We strive to lower the number of staff to children during key points throughout the day, this way the children get the individual attention they need in order to learn and develop at their own pace.
