Daycare description / philosophy

At River of Joy Dayhome, your children will have fun learning experiences (FLEX)! Your children will be free to EXPLORE their interests, DISCOVER their abilities, be CURIOUS, and simply have FUN! Guided activities are planned according to children’s interests. This may include circle time, arts and crafts, story-telling, sensory exploration, fine and gross motor skill activities, and so much more. I have a huge backyard for regular outdoor play (weather permitting). A park is also just a few minutes walk for a change of scenery, a bit of exercise, and further exploration. I have my First Aid, Police Clearance, and Child Intervention Check. Servicing Highland Park and surrounding communities (Tuxedo, Mt.
