WELCOME, to Shiny Stars Day Home. I have designed this short information to familiarized with my program, beliefs and what I have to offer the children entrusted in my care. I have more than 10 years of experience working with kids. I am an Accredited Day home, monitored by Thornhill Day Home Agency. HIGHLIGHTS: Valid First Aid/CPR Intervention Record Check Police Clearance References available upon request HOURS OF OPERATION: Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm MY MISSION: As a mother of two young kids, I believe that every child is special to their parents and deserve best of their lives. My best effort is to provide every child their best childhood memory. Subsidy is available thru the Govt. of Alberta for qualifying families. PROGRAM: Shiny Stars Day Home offers a variety of stimulating & enjoyable learning experiences. 1. Outdoor is part of my daily routine (if weather permitted) 2. Activities are planned to meet individual needs of children’s interest 3. Hands on activities, Arts & Crafts, math, reading, writing, & science 4. Music & exercise 5. All activities offered through play to promote children’s social, physical & emotional development SNACKS & MEALS: Two healthy snacks are provided and one healthy lunch. All meals are planned according to the Canada Food Guide. No nuts are served in the day home If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
