Daycare Openings, Description and Features

Daycare description / philosophy

I am currently looking to fill up spaces for my BRAND NEW Dayhome in the Lewis Estates area. My Dayhome has been approved and accredited through the Child Development Dayhome agency where I have passed all safety standards. I hold my current First Aid and CPR training and I have cleared all Police and Vulnerable Screenings. I studied and gained my diploma in Early Childhood Education back home in Ontario and I moved to Edmonton back in 2010 and received my Level 3 Supervisor Certificate. I have 10 years' experience working with families and their children in variety of settings. I also speak Portuguese fluently :-) I live in my pet/smoke free home with my lovely husband and my beautiful son Noah who is one. The dayhome is located in the basement part of my home where it has a separate play, sleep and washroom area. I also have a lovely yard with amble space for outdoor experiences. My menu has a variety of healthy choices and follows all requirements of the Canada Food Guide. My dayhome is a child centred and play based program, where I strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment that allows your child to grow, explore and learn in all areas of their development. I believe to have a routine that's predictable for children to follow and works with them as an individual. My program includes experiences in art, sensory play, music, song and stories, centre time, free play, multicultural experiences, outdoor fun and once a month field trips. My program hours are from Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm. I take both full time and part time children. My fees all include the agency fee and are:
Full time 1-5yrs $835.00/monthly
Part Time 1-5yrs $ 55 a day/ 2-3 days per week
Government Subsidy is available and can be discussed with the Child Development Agency.
I don't provide care for Before or After School children, extended hours and weekends.
