Daycare description / philosophy

We offer quality home child care in a safe, warm and educational environment for toddlers and preschoolers ( age 18 months to 4 years).

-Our home is fully baby proofed.
-It is a safe clean, smoke free and pet free environment.
-Washrooms thoroughly sanitized.
-Playrooms are cleaned daily and toys are cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis.
-Your child will be engaged in play based learning.
-There is an entertainment room for kids to view their favorite TV shows/ nursery and rhymes and other fun activities. Apart from that there is a separate play area for games, puzzles, reading & drawing/ painting.
-Children will have their meals in the dining room high chairs/ toddler seats will be provided.
-Nap mats are available for your child.

Language spoken: English, French (Beginners)

Daily scheduled activities include:
1. Art & craft / coloring
2. Learn to count
3. Learning Letters, numbers, colors, shapes and improve vocabulary 4. Lunch time (lunch to be provided by parent)
5. Story time
6. Nap time
7. Outdoor activities (weather permitting or depending on your child’s health)
8. Snack Time
9. Games, Puzzles and reading books
10. Music and sing along song time


We will provide parents with the following just so they don’t miss out their little ones growth and development.

1. Video recordings of your child’s milestones (whenever possible).
2. Picture of the week - every week.
3. Any piece of art work done by the child.
4. Weekly progress report of your child (height, weight, their behavior assessment, milestones achieved, interests developed and activities they have participated etc).
5. Talk to or view your child any time of the day through face-time (iPhone, iPad) or skype.


What we expect of the parents/legal guardian:

1. A log book will be maintained where the parents/legal guardian will sign in and sign out their child during drop off and pick up.
2. Any injuries or health issues to your child must be notified prior to daily drop-off.
3. Extra clothes, diapers and wipes, must be provided.
4. If your child is allergic to any food or products, please notify us prior to the signing up
5. Meal Plan is available at extra cost.


We will notify the parents immediately

1. if your child is showing symptoms of illness
2. Engages in unreasonable behavior with other children or is a threat to other children.
3. In case of any injury you will be notified and we expect you to come immediately.

Our goal at Castlemore home day care is to maintain a peaceful and harmonious relationship among the children and create a safe and sound environment for them to learn, interact, play and grow and we will provide and do our best to attain it!
