Daycare description / philosophy

Welcome to Creative Minds, my name is Radica and I am a registered ECE and First Aid certified caregiver. I have 20 years experience in a day care setting and have worked with children from ages 3 months to 6 years. I provide a safe and caring environment within my home, where your child will grow to their optimal level. I have daily activities planned in all areas of child development, which is social, emotional, physical and cognitive. My activity plan will be posted weekly which will be open, theme based or children directed. I have a variety of centers in my space for sensory, reading, dramatic, creative, cognitive, block-building and computer activity. I have a fenced backyard and a close neighborhood park for daily outdoor play. I will provide nutritious meals that include hot and cold breakfast, snacks and lunch on menu's which will be posted weekly on our communication board. Also, a schedule will be posted which includes their daily routine and activities itemizing their nap time, snack time, potty time, etc. Toilet training is not required, as I will assist your child in this process if needed. Creative Minds is an environment that your child can feel safe, loved, nurtured and stimulated as if they were my own.
