Daycare description / philosophy

Little Maple Montessori is a family owned business. As a Directress in the Montessori system for over 19 years and seeing my own two sons develop in this school system, the desire to inspire young minds to learn is still a great driving force in my life. The decision to open my own school in September 2010 was inevitable.

The journey continues..... Children are my inspiration. It never ceases to amaze me how special... beautiful, sweet, funny....smart, silly, but most of all how wonderful they are! My life's goal has always been to help the child reach his or her full potential.

As an educator I am very organized, disciplined, industrious, creative and energetic. I am loving, kind and patient and aspire to bring out the best in each child. The parents and I have a great rapport and have mutual respect for each other. Our aim at Little Maple Montessori is to provide an environment surrounded by friendly, caring and nurturing adults - one that is rich in intellectually stimulating materials in a beautiful and orderly child sized setting.

At Little Maple Montessori we aspire to aid the child in becoming respectful, responsible, resourceful and productive human beings, ready to challenge or adapt to the ever changing times of our modern world, ever changing as the seasons of the "˜Little Maple Tree'.

We look forward to meeting you and your child and hope you give us the opportunity to help them flourish along their journey of life. Children are priceless, more costly than silver or gold let us treasure them.
