Daycare description / philosophy

YMCA programs are designed to facilitate growth in all areas of a child's development. Our YMCA Playing to Learn Curriculum delivers a hands-on approach that allows children to learn and explore through play-based activities. Each room displays a weekly program plan that has been created in partnership with the children's ideas. Through a team approach, the teachers ensure that the curriculum is fun and challenging, which in turn provides a wonderful learning experience for your child. The qualifications and backgrounds of the teachers are inclusive and diversified which allow us to provide your child with many different experiences. YMCA teachers continue to upgrade their skills by attending YMCA Curriculum Trainings and ongoing courses and workshops.
