Daycare Openings, Description and Features

Daycare description / philosophy

The learning space is nearly 1000sq ft and full of books, crafts, games, puzzles perfect for play based learning! Also there are lots of different kinds of sports activities indoors and out. All children will have a minimum of two outdoor play times and/or nature walks - there are three parks and two school playgrounds within 10min walking distance. Children will be served home cooked nutritious snacks and meals.
Our days will include the following and will be tailored to your childs' interest and age group;
Minimum of three homemade nutritious snack/meal time (depending on exact hours of care)
Art-paint, crayon, pencil, crafting, stickers, collage, sculpting etc
Music-instrument play, dance, sing-along
Language-rhyming, reading, writing/printing, story time
Maths-numbers, counting, adding/subtracting, shapes
Healthy Body-minimum of two outdoor play/nature walk, yoga, dance, jump rope, healthy eating
Other highlights -respect for others (emphasizing use of manners, sharing, turn taking), respect for self by way of personal hygiene, encouraging , self confidence, show and tell, give and accept praise
Fridays are Funday where the children will have the opportunity to participate in a themed day, special activity (e.g. puffy paint, elephant toothpaste etc) and/or assist in a creative meal (e.g. homemade pizza, baking muffins, snackbars etc).
