Daycare description / philosophy

I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator with over 12 + years working with children of all ages from infant- school-age. I have a passion teaching children and watching them develop and meet their milestones. It brings me so much joy when families are grateful for the hard work I put into in making sure their children are given the best care when they drop them first thing in the morning.

I have worked in high quality child care centres in Toronto and have decided to spread my own wings and like children explore new opportunities! My philosophy is based on emergent curriculum, reggio emilia inspired where I plan and focus on being responsive to children’s interests to create meaningful and challenging learning experiences.

What is being offered? -nurturing, clean, safe, smoke and pet free environment for children to meet all their needs of developmental domains -smaller group- more one on one interaction with your child -high quality learning program -daily electronic charts for parents to use and see how child’s day is going through Hi-Mama - Highly trained and screened (police clearance, first aid and CPR) -Nutritious Meals (2 snacks and lunch) (Pork Free Meals) -Indoor and Outdoor stimulating age appropriate activities -Opportunity for parent involvement during special occasions (Valentines baking, Easter decorating fun, etc)

Hours are approximately 8 am- 5pm days a week. Extended half hour available before and after. -No Subsidy -Accepting Toddlers (18 months+)- Preschool -Full-time -Part-time (Min of 3 days. Ex. Mon, Wed, Fri)
