Daycare description / philosophy

Learning Garden Childcare (formerly known as Teddy Bear Educare) has been established in the south Etobicoke community since 1999. We are located south of Islington and Bloor in a large, bright, and clean facility that provides a caring and stimulating space for children to grow.

We believe that the early years are the most important, and strive to give each child the best foundation possible through a variety of experiences and learning opportunities. We foster and enable growth by designing our curriculum around the individual’s interests and needs while also providing a nurturing and caring environment. We believe that young children thrive in all areas of development when they are in supportive, caring, and responsive relationships with educators working in conjunction with families.

Children are our most precious gifts in life. It is our goal to provide the best setting possible to enable children to grow and develop socially, physically, cognitively and emotionally. At Learning Garden Childcare, we are committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating space where your child can flourish and grow.

Learning Garden Childcare is a licensed child care centre under the Ministry of Education and we strive to exceed all regulations in the Child Care and Early Years Act.
