Daycare description / philosophy

Alterna-Kids is a home daycare program focusing on healthy living!

I am proud to offer unprocessed, 100% ORGANIC, local when possible meals and snacks. We incorporate nature into our play every day and spend lots of time in the fresh air. I have a child proofed, fenced backyard with many toys and a full vegetable garden where children help.
We often take outings to the many local parks, Early Years Centre, and storytime at the library weekly.

I provide care for children ages 10 months- 4 years.
I offer a structured learning curriculum for all ages, with a pre-reading school readiness program starting at age three. I use principles of both Reggio and Montessori in my teaching.

Most of all, when your child is in my home, the goal is to make them feel safe, LOVED and happy as if they were in their own home.
