Daycare Openings, Description and Features

Daycare description / philosophy

I have my ECE Diploma and have been doing home daycare for the last 18 years. Before that I worked in a DayCare Centre where I was the Lead Teacher in the Toddler Room. So overall I have over 30 years experience working in a daycare setting. I have a separate colourful and bright playroom that has separate learning areas for the children to develop their milestones. Such as a Block Area, Doll Centre, Book Area and Freeplay Area, where the children can choose their own toys. We do Art everyday which includes painting, gluing, colouring. I also do Circle everyday where we read stories and sing songs. I provide a mid morning snack, hot lunch and after snack. I encourage children to develop their self -help skills. My philosophy is that children learn through play and feel like this is their second home. My daycare is open Monday -Thursday 7am to 4:30pm both Winter and Summer Months.If you would like further information please contact me, so I can give you more information about my Home DayCare Program.
