Daycare description / philosophy

I have eighteen plus years in child day care. I have worked with special needs children.In my day care I belive Meal time should be relaxed and informal and children should be encouraged but never forced to try new foods. I feel each child is ready for toilet training at different times. When we notice sighs of physical readiness ,lets talk about a plan for training. Each child's need for sleep varies, so I am flexible in adjusting my routine for those who require more or less sleep. I do not believe in the words bad or punishment. I redirect undesirable behaviour. I am best known for my respect for children.I will provide age appropriate games and activities to promote a positive learning environment for your child/children. Outdoors is where I am in my element. Whether it is long nature walks or a trip to the park directly across from my home and several others that are walking distance.
I will provide lots of stimulating activities including arts and crafts and music. I love to cook and will provide a variety of wholesome meals and snacks .
