Daycare description / philosophy

Hello parents.

Little Angels Home Daycare offers a safe, clean, child proof and caring home environment for kids, while parents are working or studying. It is also a smoke, pet and TV free home.

I am a licensed home daycare provider, constantly participating in different kinds of training such us: child development, positive child guidance, health and safety, circle time stories, seasonal activities, nutrition, menu plans and more. I have my Lifesaver + CPR course updated.

Every day at Little Angels Home Daycare, your little ones will find an established, but flexible routine that includes a variety of educational and appropriate activities (active, quiet, group and individual) according to their age. I am always planning activities to promote the children's physical, emotional, cognitive and social development in a play-learning environment. However, children are allowed to learn by doing activities independently and I always encourage them to observe, experiment, communicate and problem-solve through their free-play.

In general, daily activities include supervised indoor and outdoor activities (weather permitting), creative and sensory activities (arts and crafts, play dough, finger paint) circle time (music, singing, dancing, reading), dramatic play, cognitive play (puzzles, matching games), building and nap time. For outdoor activities, our space includes a fully fenced backyard and two (2) parks nearby (Medhurst Park and Tanglewood Park), where I love going every Wednesday to the community playgroup.

I provide a nutritious lunch and a morning and afternoon snack. Every week, I will give you the week-menu since I understand how important it is for you to know what your child is eating at daycare and you can also make sure that she/he is not eating the same food at home and at daycare everyday.
