Daycare description / philosophy

(LOCATION BARHAVEN ) We are offering a childcare service for your little ones. We have 10 years of childcare experience in ECA and we are excited to do it in our home. We are First Aid certified, CPR certified and we have our police record check as well. We are both young 27 year old females. We are very outgoing, fun, loving, caring and energetic people. We are a pet and smoke free household. We are looking for children ages 1.5 to 4 years of age during the daytime but we also offer after school evening programs for the same age and/or older. We are located in Barrhaven. We do temperature checks for covid when coming in and leaving out at all times. We constantly sanitize and wash our hands as teachers and as little ones. We offer breakfast, snacks and lunch (will be provided) We are a peanut/nut free environment. We also include vegetarian and gluten free options as well if needed. We will provide pictures of your child during their art time and educational fun activities. What we do... For circle times we include: talking about the weather, talking about our feelings, learning about our numbers, our letters, shapes, colours, sizes, reading books and singing songs. We also let them have their own work time of working with work materials such as sensory bins, water play, puzzles, magnets, textures, and sizes etc... We have parks outside our home so they have outside playtime (a 2 minute walk, with an open field and wagons/sleds and ropes to hold onto) on Thursdays we have yoga day with toddler meditation music, we work on our breathing, our stretching and our posture, and Friday is always FUN FRIDAY :D Everyday when you pick up your child you will be provided a report of how your child's daily day went... which will include : if they ate, sleep schedule, water/milk oz, bm (bowel movements) and behaviour. We also have a quiet area that includes calming music, soft animals, puzzles, fidgets and books.
