Daycare description / philosophy

Are you looking for quality, nurturing home daycare for your little ones this September?

I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator and certified teacher who will have spaces available starting the end of August. I love nature and offer developmentally appropriate, inquiry-based programming based on the ELECT document for children ages one year and upwards. Your children will enjoy plenty of play both indoors and outdoors, scientific exploration, a love of literacy and numeracy, singing, dancing, dress up, sensory activities, arts and crafts, as well as plenty of hugs and laughter!

I offer hot meals and healthy snacks, a supportive approach to toilet- training, and a cozy environment for your children's napping needs.

I am located a 10 minute walk from Stittsville Public School and I am in the school zone for St. Stephen Catholic School. There is a bus stop for both schools at the end of my quiet street.

My hours of operation are 7am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (please contact me further to discuss shift work- I'm flexible!).

My rates are $45/ full day, $30/ half day.

I have references available upon request, up to date First Aid and CPR, and an up to date criminal records check. I am registered with the Early Childhood Educators Association and the Ontario College of Teachers.
