Daycare description / philosophy

I am a stay at home Dad starting up my home daycare. Much of my family is in the military, so I have seen first-hand how children can be affected when their father is often away. In many of today's families, there is a need for adult male role models to young children. My daycare fills that niche.

Type of care available:

Full time preferably, but will also accept requests for part time and before/after school care.

Summer care is also being offered.

24/7 Occasional/Urgent childcare is also available.

ABOUT ME:
- I am a stay at home parent.
- I am patient, gentle, and enjoy working with children.
- I am experienced in caring for young children.
- I am a member of CCPRN (Child Care Providers Resource Network), and regularly attend their caregiver workshops.

I am licensed-agency approved (with MFRC):
- Home has been child safety checked by the agency
- Clear Police Records check for all adults in the home
- Up-to-date CPR/First Aid certification for all adults in the home

ABOUT THE DAY CARE:
- Located in quiet, safe, family neighborhood with many surrounding parks/playgrounds.
- Large, bright, dedicated main floor playroom and completely fenced backyard.
- Healthy, home-made snacks and meals provided
- Nurturing family environment with a focus on fun, learning and adventure.
- Indoor/Outdoor play, circle time, age-appropriate crafts, music appreciation.

- Home Daycare insured
- Receipts provided for tax purposes

$40 per day for each full time spot. I do not charge for statutory holidays.
