Daycare description / philosophy

At Tiny Toadstool Home Daycare, I am focused on nature based and open ended play. I encourage creative expression, curiosity, and whimsy through art, play, and stories. My home is steps from a playground and a short walk from a library. I provide a safe and comfortable play space providing toys made of mostly natural materials that encourage imaginative play. As the provider I aim to create a warm environment where children feel safe and comfortable. I practice gentle and respectful redirection with a focus on honouring our emotions. Meals are mostly organic with an emphasis on fresh fruit and vegetables. I am CPR certified with my vulnerable sector check.
