Daycare description / philosophy

The First Waldorf Daycare in Toronto. These early years are critical for healthy development of the child. We take great care that the young child is in a beautiful and natural environment that is home-like with a caregiver who is nurturing.
Our daily rhythm include free play, time for snack preparation, outdoor time, circle and story time with seasonal verses, nutritious organic lunch, followed by rest time. The afternoon rhythm will continue with quiet free play, afternoon snack, outdoor play and the weekly activities. Due to our daycare being on the campus of our grade school we are not required to be licensed- however- we are going through the process to acquire our license regardless. www.waldorfacademy.org
