Daycare description / philosophy

Hello ! My name is Laura. I am a former childcare worker who has run my own low ratio program for many years now. Two of my charges will be graduating from my care this Fall (Sept. 2015) and I am meeting with parents who are looking for a committed and fun loving caregiver to share their child's early years.

My program contains what I feel to be the best elements from formal ECE programs - weekly themes, music and dance, science and sensory play - while our small group size and low turnover allow each child to learn at their own pace with lots of love and one on one attention.

I have a current Police Check and First Aid training which I renew annually. I am an active member of Child Care Provider's Resource Network and I complete many courses every year in an effort to remain abreast of new developments in the field of Early Childhood Education. I am fully insured and compliant with all provincial regulations. (Bill 10/CCEYA)

Flexible hours allow me to accomodate most schedules. Weekly receipts provided for your records. Excellent references from parents and children alike ! LOL

My daycare is located on the main level of my home, and have a fenced backyard. In addition, we are within walking distance of several parks, nature trails and splash pads.
