Before the parents register their kids, an orientation is conducted, the menu is shown to the parents during this orientation. We are very upfront and transparent about our food, program, prices, etc?. In addition, our menu is posted in the kitchen, and in the children's' rooms for the parents to see. In regards to serving Cheese Whiz, it is listed on our menu which a parent gets to see during orientation. We serve breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack (3 meals per day), daily with 4 rotating weekly menus. Cheese Whiz is included 3 times out of the 60 meals during a 4 week rotation. We serve whole wheat bread, however, some children prefer white bread (Wonder Bread or another brand), thus we always have the option for the children to have white bread as an alternative. As per our menus, fruits and/or vegetables are included with at least 90% (54 out of 60) of meals per 4 week menu rotation. In addition to other protein choices such as tuna, a meat protein (chicken and beef) is served with every lunch meal. Regarding our fees. there are three large daycares in the Cedarbrae neighborhood, Bambi Childcare, as well as two others. In addition to in fact serving healthy meals, along with having a great program for children, Bambi Childcare is also the least expensive alternative. Our fees are on average 5-12% lower (depending on age group) than others in the area. We are sorry to hear that you feel this way, however, we have been providing top care for children for over 45 years. We do agree with you that we have a wonderful team of staff members who are nice and always try to accommodate any requests that the parents or children may have.

Their food is really bad. Example, instead of giving cheese and crackers, they still give the children cheese whiz. Other days, they give them bagels, and wonder bread. Not even whole wheat! There are almost no vegetables/fruit/meat protein in their menu. If I am paying that much for a daycare, I expect to have healthy food. The owner cuts corners unfortunately. The teachers are very nice, and they do try and be accomodating.
