Agree with the prior reviewer. There is a reliance on poor quality tv programming and computer games of nominal educational value. The staff range from excellent to so so - the true gems shine and we are grateful for them. Lately there has been an effort to incorporate games and toys with more educational value, but overall activities often lack imagination (eg art projects have little room for personal creativity and expression, many of the toys encourage stereotyped play etc). The food is of variable quality, but has also gotten a bit better. There is an over reliance on less expensive prepared foods, and they often leave stains that are difficult to remove from clothes. We are proponents of lots of free play at that preschool age, and this centre provides that. Overall, they are dedicated staff, but need to cut out the television, movies, TV shows and video games. The food needs a major overhaul. The night staff are not that nurturing towards the overnight kids, and that is a major concern.
