It was terrible when they daycare and community learned of the news (in March/April 2016) that one of the daycare's staff member was charged with many counts of sexual abuse towards young child (most victims were not at the daycare but at private homes). Although I in no way blame the staff and management for not knowing earlier about this staff member's actions, I was deeply worried about the defensive tone of the daycare's director (and others) who to this day appears to continue to support the staff member who has been charged with committing these crimes. As such, myself and other parents have expressed our fear that the daycare management will conitnue to support each other over the safety of the children at the daycare. Before this issue arose, the daycare itself was okay. There were activities and the space/equipment was adequate, but there was a lack of warmth by some staff, while other staff were more engaging. Overall, management was highly disorganized.
