Daycare description / philosophy

BEV'S PRIVATE DAY HOME, located in Parkland S.E. Calgary My door is open to a few new families for full care for children between 12 months- 4 years of age. Thank you for reading my ad, looking forward to meeting you. PURPOSE AND PHILOSOPHY I have been operating my Private Day Home since 2009. I am a proud Mom of two beautiful children, my son is 14 and my daughter is 11. I am located in Parkland. I am looking to fill a few spots age ranging between 12 months to 4 years of age. I'm looking to fill the opening with a child/children that will be a good fit to add to our group. I love and nurture the children as if they are my own. OPERATION OF MY BUSINESS: Bev's Private Day Home is dedicated to providing a warm and secure atmosphere that encourages children to grow and develop at their own pace. I believe that children need to have a positive self-image. I foster that image by providing meaningful social, physical, intellectual and emotional experiences through a variety of group activities, individual play and quiet periods. I promote confidence in their abilities to do and make things. I have ran a very successful business with the support and love from many of my different families I’ve had in the past and present. In my past profession I was an Interior designer with a love for my profession, now I’m very grateful and blessed to be doing what I do for a career. *Dog friendly environment *I provide a Home Cooked balanced meals, Big Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks. I stay away from GMO's and I buy mostly organic when possible. *Massive private fenced in backyard with play equipment. *Children have 1000sq feet of their own separate space to explore and play in *Non-smoking environment. *Clean, friendly and loving environment. *CPR/Standard First Aid certified, including infant and child CPR and choking. *Criminal background check. *Each child is provided with their own high chair and playpens for naps, they do not sleep on the floor. *Manners are very important and are taught here. *Teaching the children about Stranger Safety. *I supply everything ~except for Diapers~. *I provide written receipts for the end of the year. *I am reliable and dependable! *...most importantly, lots of laughs! Your child will always be involved in some sort of activity throughout the day such as story time, crafts, playing outdoors, dance time, singing, making forts and just allowing them to be who they are. Bev is attentive, nurturing, and loves my kids! My daughter has been going to Bevs for 2 years, and my more recently my son. Bev made the transition of my returning to work a smooth one. My kids ask to go to her house as soon as they wake in the morning! Very happy to have found her! ~Rylee and Cash's mom~ Shawnda My son attended Bev's dayhome from early 2010 to late 2013. (Age 1 -4) Leaving my baby to go back to work was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but Bev made the transition so much easier. She is a wonderful person, mother and caregiver for the children. My son loved attending her dayhome and formed many lasting friendships with the other kids. The home cooked food and healthy snacks were great and he learnt so much. My son is going into Grade 1 this year, but still asks to play at Bev's and she will always be a special person in his life. We couldn't have asked for a better caregiver for our child and highly recommend her dayhome. I can say all kinds of good things about Bev's dayhome. The kids eat well, she is very kind and warm, the children there are all nice. The best thing I can say, though, is when I drop off my little girl, I know she is with someone who truly loves her and loves working with her. That is the best piece of mind for a mom working. We have been very happy at Bev's.
