Daycare description / philosophy

Hello, my name is Kiera. I am a stay at home mom of two wonderful girls and I run a small family day home. I have 15+ years experience in child care, references available upon request, and absolutely love what I do. I am private so unfortunitely no subsidy is available. However I do offer very reasonable rates, bi-weekly payment option and a tax receipt at years end.

I strongly believe in the theory of learning through play, therefore our day consists of lots of diferent fun activities that are also educational in some way i.e. baking, arts & crafts, singing & dancing, story time, circle time, learning the abc's and 123's, free play inside in our play room and outside in our fully fenced backyard with the play structure, balls, cars, etc. As well we go on field trips twice a month (weather permiting) to many different locations around our city.

All meals and snacks are provided and follow the Canada Food Guid.

Please inquire about sibling rates when 2 or more siblings are enrolled.

Day home hours of operation are:
Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:30pm

I presently have space for 2 children 2 yrs and older in my smoke/pet free day home for either part time care or 1 child for full time care. I also offer a drop-in care service for those who only need child care from time to time.
