I will strive to provide a safe, comfortable, stimulating, fun, educational environment in my home with a semi- structured day plan. A child learns best by actively participating in his/ her world through a variety of experiences that enhances decision making, mastery of skills and the discovery of his/ her unique self. I strive to encourage the growth of independence, sense of responsibility and respect for other at a level appropriate to the child's development. A safe, secure, flexible and stimulating environment accompanied by warm, sensitive and supportive carer provides an opportunity for the child to explore the world around him. I believe that children have a right to a safe and secure environment which fosters social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth. Children are unique individuals that develop at their own pace through exploration and discovery of their own environment. I would strive to provide security, love, affection, and strong relationship to thrive and develop to their full potential.
