Daycare description / philosophy

There are two spots available for full time and/or part time care in a beautiful Waldorf inspired day home. These spots are best suited for children over 20 months.

Your child will enjoy the very best Honeycomb Daycare:

In the spirit of the Waldorf, the children in my care are always treated with respect. We use life as the curriculum. We cook together, sing together, dance together, create imaginative games and stories, puppet shows and musicals. Children of all ages are invited to participate in every activity but never pushed to do so. Play is the child's work - Children here are always free to play, create, and impact the world around them. Be it to move the furniture to create a fort, plant a flower in the garden, make playdough cupcakes, quietly read a book, or do a puzzle - wherever their mind and will takes them, I am there to follow and assist in the growth of their spirit and imagination.

Honeycomb proudly supports breastfeeding, cloth diapering, and Attachment Parenting styles of all kinds. We have an open door policy - please feel free to call or text at any time while your child is in care.
