Daycare description / philosophy

Hello :)

I have a home childcare registered with a licensed daycare agency with the ability to provide private care as well in my home in Barrhaven near Strandherd/Woodroffe. I currently have openings 3 for children over 2 years old. I have 2 boys of my own who are 1 and 6.5 years old and currently taking care of 1 year old boy.

I have experience working with children and special needs with the City of Ottawa, Mothercraft, OCDSB and private care. I have been working with children for over 7 years+.
I have a Social Service Worker diploma, standard first aid and CPR level C, criminal record check (vulnerable sector) of myself, fiancé and my parents (frequent visitors), handwriting without tears workshop certification, CPI training, Health and Safety training, High 5 certification, Behaviour Management training and Mindmasters training.

I will be providing home made healthy meals (2 snacks and lunch) and follow Canada's Food Guidelines.

I'm compassionate, trustworthy, patient, friendly, dependable and attentive. I love children; I enjoy being active with them, watch them explore and grow physically, developmentally and emotionally. I believe that the children learn through play and that each child is unique with its own abilities and creativity. I focus on children's initiative play and support their ideas.

To have children feels safe and secure away from parents.

My hours of service are Mon.-Fri. 7am-5pm but flexible. I am open to any need of care on weekdays: full time, part time, before/after school. Also available for a nonconsecutive care on the weekend or night.
