Daycare description / philosophy

Thank you for your interest in my home daycare! I am a Registered ECE (Early Childhood Educator) that has over 10 years experience in the field of childcare.
Recently I was working as an ECE in the full day kindergarten program for the OCDSB, as well as running the Before School Program for children in kindergarten up to grade 6. Now that I have two young children, it is important to me to stay home with them and create my own early learning program with a strong emphasis on literacy, independence and school readiness.
In my home your child will receive warm, individualized care with lots of 1-on-1 time and attention. This allows me to work closely with each child on specific age appropriate skills and milestones, catered to their unique needs and different learning styles.
I will offer many activities that a group setting would provide within a structured day complete with circle time, imaginative play, art, block building, healthy meals, sensory play, outdoor play, group games, and daily community outings.
